Le Moana Resort Bora Bora
A perfect white sand beach, this property provides
bungalows equivalent to suites, with a sitting
room and large master bedroom. The sitting rooms
are furnished with glass top tables offering
views of the colorful sea life below. Tahitian
ambiance has been maintained with the use of
teak, bamboo and coconut fiber. A freshwater
pool offers a choice of the upper or lower pool,
with a white sand bottom, which can be accessed
from the beach.
The
InterContinental Le Moana Resort Bora Bora has
64 individual bungalows : 12 beach bungalows
and 1 beach suite called “Heremoana”
(2 beach bungalows linked with a lounge), 48
overwater bungalows and 1 overwater suite called
“Poe Va'i” (2 overwater bungalows
linked with a lounge).
All the bungalows are junior suite size with
air conditioning. They all feature a large sun
terrace, living room, bedroom and beautiful
bathroom with bath and dressing area decorated
with live vanilla plants.
In
the Overwater bungalows, the glass coffee table
in the living room looks into the natural aquarium
of the lagoon, with its clear turquoise water
and sand bottom, illuminated at night.
The
best Polynesian artisans have combined their
talents to bring alive traditional Polynesian
crafts : woodcarving, bamboo and pandanus weaving,
tapa cloth making and mother of pearl engraving,
providing an authentic Polynesian style to this
deluxe resort hotel.
Overwater Bungalows: Surrounded by the
amazing rich colors of the tropics, luxuriant
bougainvillea and the intoxicating scent of
tiare, the overwater bungalows appear to admire
their reflections in the clear waters of the
Lagoon.
Bungalow Interior: Jewels of traditional
Polynesian architecture, the Bora Bora Beachcomber
Inter-Continental Suite bungalows are designed
in the purest Polynesian style and are enhanced
by the finest of materials. Vanilla vine growing
in the bathroom perfumes the air. Glass-topped
coffee tables allow you to watch the multi-colored
tropical fish as they perform their aquatic
ballet.
