Situated on Motu Toopua in the center
of Bora Bora's magnificent lagoon, this
award-winning Orient-Express Hotel is
renowned for its service, amenities and
private motu location, with magnificent
views across the lagoon to Mt. Otemanu.
This resort features 76 bungalows, suites
and villas. Overwater bungalows offer
glass-topped coffee tables with views
of the lagoon beneath, and the suites
and villas include private sundecks with
plunge pools. All accommodations are built
traditional style, with all of the modern
amenities and features.
Guests of the resort will appreciate this
authentically-designed property for its
lush, tropical gardens, warm Tahitian
hospitality and comprehensive facilities.
This includes a large, horizon-edged swimming
pool, two tennis courts, fitness center
and the only tree-top spa in the South
Pacific, Maru Spa, set high in the branches
of two giant banyan trees. Using only
the freshest local plant and flower ingredients,
the spa features its own line of signature
Maru Spa products and treatments, including
the famous Honeymoon Bliss couples treatment.
The resort also has two restaurants -
Otemanu for fine dining and Cafe Fare
for casual fare. A wide variety of activities
are offered for guests, and the main village
of Vaitape is just three minutes away
by boat.
